PCS Founder
As Founder of PCS and an Occupational Therapy Practitioner, Angela Truka has over 20 years of experience to offer expertise in a number of specialty areas within pediatrics for Columbus and surrounding suburbs. The unique PCS approach to therapy has assisted children and their families in developing the best plan of care for their daily needs and life long development of skills, whether your child’s goals are in handwriting, feeding, social-emotional, physical, or sensory processing we can establish a successful path together!
Collaboration with you, your family, the PCS team and all other medical professionals is of greatest priority for each child. PCS has long been a part of varying teams to include speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, pediatricians, neurologists, gastroenterologist, psychologists, teachers, art therapists, music therapists, developmental therapists, vision therapists, ophthalmologists, dietitians, nutritionists, and other health care providers.
Angela Truka has spent the last two decades in a number of settings to include early intervention, private clinics and school settings for children birth through the age of 21. She stays up to date with therapy trends while staying mindful of the latest evidence based research for pediatric therapy. The journey within Occupational Therapy came initially by graduating from The Ohio State University in 2001 and since then has been dedicated to this field for children in need by expanding her expertise in becoming certified and directly trained in specialty areas of practice. This also led to her strong influence in managing and mentoring staff as well as taking on a private practice. Currently, Angela Truka is the ONLY Occupational Therapy Practitioner in private practice that is CERTIFIED in both Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental Treament within the Columbus area.

Neurodevelopmental Treatment
Certified in this sensory-motor approach for assisting children in physical function due to delayed or neurological disorders.
Sensory Integration Therapy
Certified in this sensory approach to help children relate and make sense of the world around them due to attention and behavior concerns.
Feeding Therapy
Specialized in the areas of oral-motor and Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach for children with feeding concerns.
Kinesiotaping
Specialized in advanced training for medical taping to facilitate, lengthen and promote recovery of muscles and muscle groups.
Sound Based Therapy
Specialized in the sound-based therapies of Therapuetic Listening and Sonomas for supporting children with sensory processing needs.
Handwriting & Assistive Technology
Specialized in handwriting and typing programs for children with motor planning difficulties and dysgraphia.
Self-Regulation
Specialized in the training of teaching self-regulation through The Alert Program's How Does Your Engine Run?, Social Thinking's Zones of Regulation, The Incredible 5 Point Scale and more.
PCS Supports
PCS supports children birth through preschool ages with diagnoses in developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism, feeding disturbances, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, dysgraphia, other neuromotor disorders and in meeting milestones.
PCS Sessions
PCS plans concierge sessions for evaluations, direct therapy and home programming to improve eye-hand coordination, visual-motor integration, bilateral coordination, sensory integration, self-regulation, physical function, feeding, motor planning, attention, behavior, and other activities of daily living through play and exploration.
PCS currently accepts private pay for evaluations and treatment at the time of scheduled appointments, with superbills provided upon request for insurance.
